I Love Me Some Me: Gambling Tips from The KID for T.O. Weekend
Ah Terrell Owens. So loved. So hated. So undercovered by the media. OK, not really. But, in honor of his return to Philly, I have dedicated this football weekend to not only a great football player, but to someone who is truly an artist. The most famous performance artist in the world. And yes, I am serious about that.
College Games:
Right now the UK/USC line is all over the freakin' place. It kind of reminds me of my friend Chim in college. One night he was so blotto that he bumbling and stumbling around eventually led him to a corner, in which he was stuck for about 30 minutes. I cannot wait to tell that story to his kid. Anyway, it opened at 3 1/2 moved up to 6 1/2 and then down to 5 and now I think 5 1/2. Obviously, some people are very interested in this game. Right now, I don't think I will bet on it, but after a few beers on Saturday, I am pretty sure I will. I just want it to climb back up a little.
Nothing else really jumps out at me. Although, I am taking a long look at the Michigan/Mich. State game. 15 1/2 is a lot of points, and the MSU offense can score points. Of course, John L. Smith is still the coach, so who knows.
Actually, I also like LSU +2 against Florida. Despite their loss to Auburn, I still think LSU is the best team in the SEC.
I am tempted by the Louisville/MIddle Tenn. State game tongiht, but 31 is a lot of points. I can see this being 35-7, which would kind of suck from a gambling perspective. If Louisville covers this, consider them a safe bet to cover until the WVU game.
Later with NFL picks.
